These terms cover every gift MRG Recordings sells, whether it is a gift card bought for a dollar amount or a gift certificate made out for studio time and mixing.
Key Terms
- 24-Hour Refund Window: Gift card purchases may be refunded within 24 hours of purchase, provided no portion has been redeemed. After 24 hours, all sales are final.
- Studio Services Only: Gift cards may be used toward recording studio time, mixing, and mastering services at MRG Recordings.
- No Cash Redemption: Gift cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
- Dollar Value: Gift cards represent a dollar value toward services. Services are charged at MRG Recordings’ rates in effect when booked or provided.
- No Expiration or Inactivity Fees: Gift card balances do not expire and are not reduced by inactivity fees.
- Scheduling Required: Gift cards do not guarantee appointment availability. Studio sessions must be booked in advance and remain subject to standard booking, cancellation, and rescheduling policies.
- Remaining Balances: Any unused balance remains available for future eligible services. If services exceed the gift card balance, the customer is responsible for the difference.
- Transferable: Gift cards may be given to another person but may not be commercially resold or used to purchase additional gift cards.
- Lost or Unauthorized Use: MRG Recordings is not responsible for lost, stolen, deleted, or unauthorized use of gift cards or gift card codes.
- Fraud: MRG Recordings reserves the right to refuse or cancel gift cards reasonably believed to have been obtained or used fraudulently.

MRG Recordings gift cards are redeemable exclusively for eligible studio services provided by MRG Recordings, including recording studio time, mixing, and mastering services.
Gift card purchases may be canceled and refunded to the original purchaser within 24 hours of purchase, provided that no portion of the gift card has been redeemed. After 24 hours, all gift card sales are final and non-refundable.
Gift cards have no cash value and may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, except where otherwise required by applicable law. After the 24-hour refund period, all remaining gift card value may only be applied toward eligible MRG Recordings services.
Gift cards may be transferred or given to another person unless otherwise stated, but may not be resold for commercial purposes. MRG Recordings is not responsible for lost, stolen, deleted, or unauthorized use of gift cards or gift card codes.
Gift cards do not guarantee studio availability or a specific appointment date or time. All recording sessions must be scheduled in advance and are subject to studio availability and MRG Recordings’ standard booking, cancellation, and rescheduling policies.
Gift card value may be applied toward services priced at MRG Recordings’ rates in effect at the time the services are booked or provided. A gift card represents a dollar value toward services and does not guarantee a specific number of studio hours or services unless expressly stated on the gift card.
If the cost of services exceeds the available gift card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method. Any unused balance will remain available for future eligible services.
Gift cards may not be used to purchase additional gift cards.
MRG Recordings reserves the right to refuse or cancel a gift card that is reasonably believed to have been obtained, purchased, or used fraudulently or in violation of these terms.
By purchasing or redeeming an MRG Recordings gift card, the purchaser and recipient agree to these Terms & Conditions and MRG Recordings’ applicable studio booking and cancellation policies.
Booking and Cancellation Policies
The booking, cancellation, and rescheduling policies referred to above are in our Terms of Service. A session paid for with a gift card is booked and cancelled the same way as any other session.
